How to get land you can work without ever launching Hytale, why a holding goes quiet, and how to wake it up.
There are two ways to hold land in WoA, and only one of them needs the game.
- A concession — a plot in an enterprise zone, taken from the map in your browser. No character, no download, nothing placed by hand.
- A deed — a plot standing in the world itself, which needs a linked in-game character.
For a browser player the concession is the door. Open the zones catalogue from the map, pick a plot, and your company becomes its operator.
Making it produce
- Choose what the holding makes — its recipe.
- Post what you will pay per cycle. Your offer is public: it is what workers compare when they choose where to stand.
- Wait for someone to take a shift. Owners do not push work onto players; workers pick their own.
- The output arrives on the holding's warehouse when the shift finishes.
Why my plot is not on the labour board
The board only lists work it can actually deliver. A holding disappears from it when its treasury cannot cover even the shortest shift, when its daily production budget is used up, or when every slot is already taken. None of these is damage — fund it, or wait for the budget to refill, and it comes back on its own.
Going quiet, and coming back
A holding whose money has run dry for long enough goes dormant, and a dormant one can eventually return to the pool for someone else. This never happens quietly: you are warned in advance, and warned again when it is close.
