How to earn your first gold in the browser — where to click, how long it takes, and what happens when it finishes.
You do not need Hytale installed to start. Make an account, open the map, and the world offers you work straight away — the state guarantees a newcomer's first job so that an empty world can never leave you with nothing to do.
Where to click
- Sign in and open the map.
- Take the shift the world offers you — it is on your dashboard, and at the Employment Centre in Downtown.
- Close the tab if you like. The shift runs on world time, not on your attention.
What happens when it ends
The wage lands in your company's treasury by itself. You do not have to come back and collect it, and nothing expires if you do not.
If the state's wage budget happens to be spent at that moment, the shift is not lost and you are not blocked: it queues, says so, and pays out automatically as the budget refills. You can start something else in the meantime.
What your work produced
A state shift feeds the state's own stores. It makes nothing you can sell — that is the price of work that is guaranteed to exist. Work taken from the labour board is different: what you produce goes to the holding you worked, and its owner is another player.
After the first one
- Your dashboard offers the next shift and shows what it will pay before you accept.
- Longer shifts pay more, and run longer — nothing is lost by choosing a short one.
- The starter shifts from the state are an allowance for your first days, not an income. Once it runs out, the labour board is where work comes from, and there the employer is a person.
